Dear Supervisors

I strongly oppose the renewable energy plan development in Inyo county. Owens valley/Inyo county is one of the most beautiful areas of the entire state of California. The addition of solar panels, wind turbines, and other renewable energy structures, including fences, buildings, walls, signs, etc. etc. will forever damage the beauty of this valley and surroundings. I’m all in favor of renewable energy, but not at the expenses of our natural beauties in the Owens valley. Our county has contributed more than its share for energy production, as we are reminded daily, looking at the dry bed of Owens lake, getting dust and particulates from the dry areas, having our wells and creeks drying up, etc. etc. Moreover, I’m concerned about these structures and the effects on wildlife, birds, etc.
